What is copywriting?
A few months back I mentioned to someone that I’m a copywriter. His name is Paul.
Paul thinks about it for a second, and reaches into his bag and pulls out a copyrighted piece of paper, and says, “Is this what you do?”
No, copywriting is not about trade marks.
What I told him is this…
A copyright protects his book and prevents illegal use from anyone unauthorized to do so. It is copyrighted with the symbol ©.

Copywriting, on the other hand, is writing with the intention of selling to your audience. The words lead them to take action and buy from you. The main goal with creating copy is to get a sale or response. For instance, you want someone to sign-up for your latest and greatest E-book. You get their email, and in a few months they buy from you.
It sounds simple enough, doesn’t it?
Who needs copywriters?
Every business on the planet NEEDS copywriters, and that includes YOU.
Copywriting can help you with white pages, marketing emails, web pages, landing pages, sales pages, blog posts, social media posts, books, E-books, flyers, brochures, catalogues, magazines, and more. This copy is designed to sell and get you more people buying from you today!

What is Content Writing?
Content writing is exactly like having a conversation. You inform, educate, and entertain the reader. The main goal here is building a relationship with the reader.
The content is informal and friendly. You may have a link from another blog or a popular website. It’s all about creating a great experience for the reader.
They get to know you. Become comfortable with you. Next thing you know they’ve bought your most expensive package.
What is the Difference Between Copywriting and Content Writing?
Copy is very, very strategic. There is a reason for every…single…word. Period.
Any type of sales copy is designed to take someone from point A to point B to make a sale.
In content writing, it’s a whole other animal, and the conversation can be very multi-directional.
Types of content can include:
How-to articles
How-to articles
News article
Recipe article
Features or spotlights on someone or something
In these articles you may have many facts and a variety of questions.
What is Copy Editing?
Copy editing and copywriting are very similar. What’s the difference? Copywriting is where I create something original, and completely from scratch. In copy editing, a client sends me something already written, and I check it for errors, spelling mistakes, fact-check, and improve the flow of the content.

What is health writing?
Health writing is just the best. I fall asleep at night dreaming about it…. It’s where my passion lies. That is why I educated myself at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. I wanted to gain all the knowledge I could. But, in the world of health and wellness, you’re always learning. It’s never ending.
So, why did I get into this crazy world of health?
Like many people, I became interested due to my own health issues with digestion. As a researcher, one thing lead to another, and before I knew it I was finding solutions to my problems.
I went from someone with a fast-food addiction to an avid health advocate who thinks before he puts anything into his body.
I parlayed my health passion into a career as a health writer.
Where has my health content been featured?
For more than 5 years my content has been featured at DoctorsHealthPress and FoodsForBetterHealth. I invite you to check out my portfolio.
